Ok I don't mind Traffic Exchanges and have joined a few good ones lately with plenty of contests to keep the surfing interesting. I have a few now that have cash pages in rotation which always makes surfing really fun and worth it.

Just a thought though do try and put personal sites and blogs etc and not just spash pages or links for other Traffic Exchanges when joining and submitting sites to be shown in the surfbar.
If you want to promote othe Traffic Exchanges put the banners onto a splash page or a Blog or your own site and promote that.
I get a little tired and sick of only seeing splash pages/referral links for other Traffic Exchanges and it is really nice to see Blogs or other Biz Opps and that often makes me stop and take a closer look and it makes surfing more interesting. I am sure if I get fed up others also are getting fed up with seeing them too especially if you surf allot more than I do.
I surf a little each day and it makes a difference to making sure you always have credits for your own sites to be seen and many of the Traffic Exchanges I have joined give you higher surf ratio the more you surf and so you earn more credits for surfing daily.
Traffic Exchanges are fun and can be a good place to interact with people as lots now have a multi site chatbox installed so you can be talking and learning from others at many different exchanges and often you can add your link for people to check out and maybe join the site you are promoting.
I have found this in itself an effective way of getting my sites checked and have had many referrals through this way.
